Quepos: The best fishing destination in the Central America

Central America is mostly popular for tis ravishing and magnificent beaches. Almost all the countries located in the Caribbean are popular for their beaches and some joy full life style. Many travelers visit these beautiful beaches to spend some great holidays with their friends and families. But, apart from spending holiday in the beaches, people also visit the Central America for fishing which seems to offer great fishing conditions. Costa Rica in particular is widely known for Quepos fishing charters. Quepos, which is one of the major towns in the country, offers fishing opportunities to both professional fishermen’s and the habitual fishermen’s. Fishing industry in Quepos has become the lifeline for majority of the fishermen’s because Costa Rica shores are known to have Solomon, Dorado, tuna, bill fish, sailfish and many more fishes in abundance. Fishing also helps I the protection and preservation of some endangered fish species. 

The government of Cost Rica is also promoting fishing in Quepos and in order to promote fishing they have made some legal fishing zones where only licensed fishermen are allowed for fishing. There is also a major restriction for fishing in the ocean and you need to have a special permission from the local authority if you want to do Costa Rica fad fishing. You can only do fishing in the ocean in some selected areas in Quepos. This has been done to protect some important species and also to maintain ecological balance.
